Janez Hafner, a Slovenian painter, studied at the Academy of Fine Arts and graduated in painting in 1973, then continued his studies with a specialization and a master's degree in 1975. He had many solo exhibitions at home and abroad, and participated in many group exhibitions. He created mostly in the technique of acrylic on canvas, in his early period also in the technique of charcoal and oil on canvas. He was a great lover of paintings by the Slovenian painter Ivan Grohar (summarized from Wikipedia).
