Ferdo Vesel, a Slovenian painter, studied painting at the Vienna Academy and drawing and painting at the Academy in Munich. His paintings are torn between realistic and impressionist style. He painted portraits, nudes, from the folklore genre to landscapes and still lifes. He created mainly in oil technique, tempera and pastel, and in mixed technique.
