(Vrtojba, 1914 - Šempeter near Gorica, 1993)
The academic painter and restorer studied in Vrtojba, took nude painting courses in Gorizia, graduated from the Art School in Venice and graduated from the Venetian Academy of Fine Arts (Accademia di belle arti). He was an art pedagogue at primary school and several secondary schools, and also employed at the Institute for the Protection of Cultural Monuments in Ljubljana and at the Institute for the Protection of Monuments in Nova Gorica. He ran a painting school and painting courses. He is the author of several decorative and monumental works, which he has shown in numerous solo exhibitions.
