The painter Zmago Modic studied painting in Ljubljana, where he also lived and worked. From 1978 he ran his own painting school. He became recognizable by the installations and occasional decorations of the Ljubljana city center (annual installations on Earth Day and light decorations of the Universe Ljubljana on New Year's Day, etc.).
