Ajdo France Šubic was a Slovenian painter, graphic artist and draftsman who created most of his work after World War II. He most often painted figures that resemble those in the work of Maksim Sedej, Sr. or are inspired by Amadeo Modigliani in elongated proportions.

His work also includes some depictions of landscapes. The artist loved to paint the world around him. His works included people and landscapes that he encountered in everyday life. He is characterized by a freer visual language with simple children's drawings. He is one of the artists of the Art Informel movement, who sought beauty in the world with the help of simplified images. In the works of art, we can easily recognize what the artist was trying to depict, despite the fact that his strokes were not clear but often blurred.
Ajdo France Šubic's color scale is dominated by calm earth tones, which can also flow into each other. When the artist sketched, he filled parts of his drawing with color. This way, he emphasized a certain element in the drawing and made it more convincing. The artist also painted children on several occasions.
