Veno Pilon, a Slovenian painter, graphic artist and photographer, studied in Prague, Florence, and then in Vienna. He also visited Paris, where he later settled and began to work intensively in photography. After World War II, he came on a long visit to his homeland. He returned to Ajdovščina in 1968. In 1973, the Pilon Gallery (formerly his father's bakery) was established in Ajovščina. The Gallery has the largest collection of his works, from oils to drawings and photographs (summarized from Wikipedia).-
