The work of art was created shortly before World War II. This is a classic "postcard" of Bled: in the left golden section is an island and in front of it on the water is a wicker (with a red parasol!), And in the right golden section is a castle and a chair in the background, its ridge opposite - and a low strip of sky. It is painted in slightly weighted warm, partly "fleshy" colors and tones, and rich in reflections on the water.
